(B) Three Pin Cord Extension Sockets of the Rewirable Type which are intended
for attachment to a flexible cord, and intended for making a detachable connection
with a three pin flat pin plug of the profile outlined in international Standard IEC 83
(Standard A10-20), and are rewirable but the cover providing protection from
contact with live parts is not retained by screw(s). AS/NZS 3120—1993 (including
Amendment 1 to that standard).

(C) Electrical Heating Appliances and Associated Controls for Spa Pools,
intended to operate at a nominal voltage of 230 V AC 50 Hz and designed for the
heating of water in spa pools. AS3136/NZS6232—1996.

(D) Infrared Motion Sensor Luminaires, intended for connection to a nominal
voltage of 230 V AC 50 Hz for use outdoors which incorporate a passive infrared
motion sensor with one or more lampholders in a single assembly. AS/NZS 3137—1992 (including
Amendments 1 and 2 to that
standard), or EN 60598-2-
1:1989.

Education Act 1989

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Omahu School Board of Trustees and appoint Mr Brown Kamau as Commissioner to act in its place.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 3 April 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Judith Pomare in respect of:

Mana Childcare Centre, situated at 20 Awatere Street, Elsdon.

The centre has closed.


This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Fisheries Act 1983

The Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1996 (No. F38)

Pursuant to section 28ZM (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983 and after consultation with the Southern Scallop Fishery Advisory Committee, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries acting pursuant to delegated authority in accordance with section 28 of the State Sector Act 1988, hereby makes the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1996.

  2. Interpretation—In this notice any reference to the Southern Scallop Fishery means the fishery described in Part 1 of Schedule 1 D to the Fisheries Act 1983.

  3. Scallop Season—The period commencing on the 28th day of August 1996 and ending with the close of the 20th day of December 1996 shall be the commercial southern scallop season for the 1996 fishing year.

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Rotational Fishing) Notice 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 27th day of August 1996.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice any reference to the Southern Scallop Fishery means the fishery described in Part 1 of Schedule 1 D to the Fisheries Act 1983.
