Cancellation of Licence
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 8 December 1992, which was granted under those regulations to John Charles Paki in respect of:

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
Supplementary Integration Agreement
Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975 notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:
John Paul College, Rotorua.
The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 3rd day of July 1996. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Health and Disability Services Act 1993
Notice to the Northern Regional Health Authority of the Crown’s Objectives for Health and Disability Services in 1996/97
Pursuant to section 8 (1) of the Health and Disability Services Act 1993, I, Jennifer Mary Shipley, hereby give the Northern Regional Health Authority notice of the Crown’s objectives in relation to the matters described in the said section 8 (1).
1 Primary Objective
(1) The Crown’s primary objective is for the Northern Regional Health Authority to improve, promote and protect the public health, and to promote the independence of people in the communities in the Specified Area to be described in Section 13.6 of the 1996/97 Funding Agreement in respect of that Authority, through the purchase of health and disability services, by having regard to—
(a) the Principles referred to in clause 4 of this notice—
(i) when making decisions in relation to all health services purchased or to be purchased by the Authority; and
(ii) when making decisions in relation to all population groups in the Specified Area; and
(b) the particular characteristics, special needs, and cultural values of those communities (in particular Maori, Pacific Islands people, and people with disabilities); and
(c) what is reasonably achievable in 1996/97 within the funding available to the Northern Regional Health Authority.
(2) As part of the primary objective referred to in subclause (1) of this clause, the Northern Regional Health Authority, in its purchase of health and disability services, should take account of the Crown’s policy directions for Maori health expressed in the document Whaia te ora mo te iwi [1993].
2 Health Gain Priority Areas
In fulfilling the primary objective, the Crown particularly seeks to improve health status in the following health gain priority areas, by way of the following methods described in relation to those priority areas:
(a) Child Health
- by focusing on improving the coverage of services, in particular through targeting those who are in need of additional services, and through identifying cost-effective services; and
(b) Maori Health
- by focusing on providing services which aim to meet the health needs and expectations of Maori so
