Notice of Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to section 84 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985, an order was made in the Alexandra District Court on 21 May 1996, against Dana Nathan Murray of Mount Pisa Station, Cromwell, for the confiscation of:

1983 Holden Commodore, registration No. KU 6589.

It is a condition of the order that the offender shall not, within 12 months after the date of the order, acquire any interest in any motor vehicle.

Order for Striking Off Practitioner’s Name From the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors

In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982.

Pursuant to section 117 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on the 23rd day of April 1996, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:

1. That the name of the practitioner Wayne Stuart Ross be struck off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.

2. That the practitioner is censured.

3. That the practitioner pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $5,000.00 towards the costs and expenses of the inquiry by this tribunal.

4. That the practitioner pay to the Wellington District Law Society the sum of $30,000.00 towards the costs and expenses of the inquiry by that society.

5. That publication of the names of clients and contributors of the practitioner and his nominee company be published.
