6. Nothing in this bylaw shall apply to any vehicle on the said State highway being used by a contractor appointed by Transit New Zealand and undertaking maintenance duties on the State highway.

This bylaw was made by resolution passed at a meeting of Transit New Zealand held in Wellington on the 5th day of June 1996.

Reclassification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the Kilbirnie Park Recreation Reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for local purposes (community purposes), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Southland Conservancy, Department of Conservation was passed by The Gore District Council on the 12th day of December 1995:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Gore District Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”
