The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice 1996
Pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated on the 31st day of August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice 1996.
(2) The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometre an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(3) That part of the Second Schedule to the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1 1992* which relates to that section of road specified in the Schedule hereto, is revoked.
Schedule
SITUATED within Waipa District at Te Awamutu:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from a point 10 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Benson Road to a point 510 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Greenhill Drive.

The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice 1996
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated on the 31st day of August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice 1996.
(2) Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered TT9626/1, entitled “Whakatane District Council Speed Restrictions at Thornton and Matata” and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas or limited speed zones, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, or are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962, as may be ascertained from the legend. The said plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
(3) The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 1 1991*, is revoked.

The Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1996
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and to a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated on the 31st day of August 1990, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, Secretary for Transport, give the following notice:
Notice
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimakariri District) Notice 1996.
(2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purposes of section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) The roads specified in the Third Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of the Transport Act 1962.
(5) The following notices are revoked:
(a) The Traffic (Rangiora District) Notice No. 1, 1982*.
(b) The Traffic (Rangiora District) Notice No. 2, 1988†.
First Schedule
SITUATED within Waimakariri District at Woodend:
All the area, except those roads specified in the Second and Third Schedules to this notice, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 1200 metres measured north easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Woodend Road; thence westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the north eastern side of Rangiora-Woodend Road at the intersection of the line of the north western side of Okaihau Road produced across Rangiora-Woodend Road; thence across Rangiora-Woodend Road at right angles to its north eastern side to its south western side; thence south easterly, generally, along the south western side of Rangiora-Woodend Road, to its intersection with the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence southerly, generally, along the western side of the said State highway to a point 50 metres measured southerly, generally, from Rangiora-Woodend Road; thence across the said State highway at right angles to its western side to its eastern side; thence north easterly generally by a right line to a point on the south western side of Woodend Beach Road at its intersection with the line of the southern side of Judsons Road produced across Woodend Beach Road; thence easterly generally along the said line across Woodend Beach Road and along the southern side of Judsons Road to its eastern end; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to the south eastern extremity of Petries Road; thence northerly, generally, along the eastern side of Petries Road to its intersection with Gladstone Road; thence across Gladstone Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to the southern side of the eastern end of Parsonage Road; thence across Parsonage Road at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence north westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the eastern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) due east of the starting point; thence due west across the said State highway to the starting point.
Second Schedule
SITUATED within Waimakariri District at Woodend:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 250 metres measured north easterly, generally, from Woodend Road to a point 860 metres measured north easterly, generally, from Woodend Road.
Chinneys Road: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 800 metres measured north
