Notice of Intention to Promote Medical Assurance Society Members’ Trust (Exemption from Perpetuities) Bill 1996
The Medical Assurance Society New Zealand Limited intends to promote a Private Bill under the short title “The Medical Assurance Society Members’ Trust (Exemption from Perpetuities) Bill 1996”.
The object of the Bill is to exempt the Medical Assurance Society Members’ Trust from the rule of law known as the rule against perpetuities (also known as the rule against remoteness of vesting).
The promoter is Medical Assurance Society New Zealand Limited.
Communication or notices to the promoter concerning the Bill may be sent to Mr Michael Stride, Medical Assurance Society New Zealand Limited, P.O. Box 13-042, Johnsonville.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected, in accordance with Appendix B (paragraph 7) of the Standing Orders at the District Court, Ballance Street, Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Apply for the Approval of the Minister of Energy to Replace Various New Zealand Electrical Codes of Practice
Pursuant to section 38 of the Electricity Act 1992 (“the Act”), I hereby give notice that I intend to apply to the Minister of Energy not less than 1 month from the date of publication of this notice for approval of the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the First Schedule to this notice and of the revocation of the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the Second Schedule to this notice.
I also advise that, pursuant to section 36 of the Act, I have issued the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the First Schedule and the revocation of the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the Second Schedule. Section 38 of the Act provides that an electrical code of practice and a revocation of such a code does not have any force or effect until it has been approved by the Minister of Energy.
Comments are invited from any interested parties in relation to the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the First Schedule to this notice and the revocation of the Electrical Codes of Practice listed in the Second Schedule.
Copies of the Electrical Codes of Practice may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Engineer, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington, or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.
Comments should be received at this address by the 11th day of July 1996.
