Fisheries Act 1983

Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 1994, Amendment No.1 (No. F30)

Pursuant to section 28W (3) of the Fisheries Act 1983, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board and the Treaty of Waitangi Fisheries Commission, and after consideration of the matters specified in section 28W (5) of the said Act, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 1994, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 1994 (No. 5346), which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette on 26 May 1994, No. 50, page 1757, hereinafter referred to as the principal notice.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Clause 3 amended—clause 3 (3) of the principal notice is hereby amended by omitting the expression “is valid for a period of 2 years from the date that this notice comes into effect”, and substituting the expression “is valid until the close of 30 June 1996”.
