The following order was made in the High Court at Auckland on the 27th day of March 1996:

That pursuant to section 111 of the Insolvency Act 1967, Kerry James Pennell of 32A Howard Road, Northcote, is prohibited until final discharge from doing the following things without leave of the Court:

(a) Entering into or carrying on any business or class of business either alone or in partnership with any person;

(b) Being engaged in the management or control of any business carried on by or on behalf of, or being in the employ of, any of the following persons, namely, the bankrupt’s wife, a lineal ancestor or descendant of the bankrupt, the wife or husband of such an ancestor or descendant, a brother of the bankrupt, the wife of such a brother, a sister of the bankrupt and the husband of such a sister;

(c) Acting as a director or taking part directly or indirectly in the management of any company or class of company or being concerned in the management of any company or class of company.

and that these conditions are to apply for a period of 18 months from the date the automatic discharge was due, that is until 19 June 1996. Contemporaneous with the final discharge, the bankrupt will pay to the official assignee the sum of $5,000.00 toward his bankrupt estate.

ANZ Banking Group (New Zealand) Limited, with reference to Russells Curtains Limited (“the company”), hereby gives notice that on the 2nd day of May 1996, ANZ Banking Group (New Zealand) Limited appointed James Bruce Alfred McAlister and David John Strack, both of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Chartered Accountants, Deloitte House, 32 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, as joint and several receivers and managers of the property of the company under the powers contained in the debenture dated the 1st day of December 1987.

The receivers and managers have been appointed in respect of all the company’s undertakings and all its assets, whatsoever and wheresoever, both present and future, including its uncalled capital.
