Road to be Stopped and Land Taken for Severance in Westland District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hokitika:

(a) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the First Schedule, to be stopped and shall vest in The Crown for the functioning indirectly of a road.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped and further declares that:

(1) The area marked “DG” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5A/74, subject to memorandum of mortgage 088661.3 (Westland Registry).

(2) The areas marked “DH” and “DI” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 8B/617, subject to memorandum of mortgage 086019.3 (Westland Registry).

(3) The area marked “DN” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 8B/618, subject to memorandum of mortgage 101842.3 (Westland Registry).

(4) The area marked “DV” shall be dealt with as stewardship land administered by the Department of Conservation.

(c) Pursuant to section 119, declares that the land described in the Third Schedule be taken for severance and dealt with as Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Land in Taupo District Set Apart for Water Power Development

Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for water power development.

Stopped Road Vested in the District of Tasman

Pursuant to sections 117 and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Team Member, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson, declares the areas of stopped road described in the Schedule hereto shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 8B/850, subject to memorandum of mortgage 333164.3.

Land Acquired for Use in Connection With a Road, Corner of Gloucester Street and Howard Road—Napier District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares the land described in the Schedule to be acquired for use in connection with a road which shall vest in The Napier City Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
