Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, and the Minister of Lands, being the Ministers responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Canterbury Land District—Selwyn District

4925.0242 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 11313, comprised in all Pastoral Occupation Licence 9K/878, situated in Blocks I, II, V and VI, Kowai and Blocks IV, VII, VIII and XI, Coleridge Survey Districts.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserves, described in the Schedule hereto as Government purpose reserves (health services), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Wellington Land District—Wellington City

1001 square metres, more or less, being Lots 2, 3 and 4, Deposited Plan 1461. All C.T. 14D/533.

1080 square metres, more or less, being Lots 6, 7 and 8, Deposited Plan 371. All C.T. D1/635.

Amending a Gazette Notice Authorising Exchange of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby amends the notice Authorising an Exchange of Part of a Reserve published in the New Zealand Gazette on 7 December 1989, No. 216, page 6110, by the deletion of the First and Second Schedules and the substitution in their place of the following schedules:

First Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Far North District

194 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, L.T. Plan 172142 (part Lot 4, D.P. 33775), accessway reserve, situated in Block IV, Mangonui Survey District, and being part certificate of title 318/152.

Second Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Far North District

197 square metres, more or less, being Lot 5, L.T. Plan 172142 (part Lot 3, D.P. 51124), situated in Block IV, Mangonui Survey District, and being part certificate of title 3B/131.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, for the common use and benefit of Henare and Paora Murray, their children and descendants.
