Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, dated 19 December 1995, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, dated 21 December 1995, I, John Gibson Bradbury, General Manager International Relations, hereby give notice that I intend to exercise the power conferred by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the international air service licence issued to Royal Tongan Airlines in order that the airline may operate up to the equivalent of 2 return B767 services per week between Tonga and Auckland.

This amendment will take effect from 26 April 1996.

Casino Control Act 1990

Rules of Casino Table Games, Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to section 63 of the Casino Control Act 1990, the Casino Control Authority on 2 April 1996 resolved that the Rules of Casino Table Games approved to be conducted and played in the licensed casinos at:

(a) 30–38 Victoria Street, Christchurch, and

(b) the property bounded by Hobson, Victoria, Federal and Wellesley Streets, Auckland,

as set out in the Supplement dated Friday, 26 January 1996 to the New Zealand Gazette of Thursday, 25 January 1996, and as amended by notice in the New Zealand Gazette of Thursday, 22 February 1996, be amended as set out below.

1.0 Commencement

These amendments shall come into force at 10.00 a.m. on 12 April 1996.

2.0 Division II—Blackjack—Table Layout and Equipment

Rule 2.4 of Division II is hereby amended by deleting, from paragraph (b), the words “constructed of plastic or brass and”.

3.0 Division IV—Mini Baccarat—Table Layout and Equipment

Rule 2.4 of Division IV is hereby amended by deleting, from paragraph (b), the words “constructed of plastic or brass,”.

4.0 Division V—Baccarat—Table Layout and Equipment

Rule 2.4 of Division V is hereby amended by deleting, from paragraph (b), the words “constructed of plastic,”.

5.0 Division VIII—Caribbean Stud Poker—Table Layout and Equipment

Rule 2.5 of Division VIII is hereby amended by deleting, from paragraph (b), the words “constructed of plastic or brass,”.

6.0 Division IX—Midi Baccarat—Table Layout and Equipment

Rule 2.4 of Division IX is hereby amended by deleting, from paragraph (b), the words “constructed of plastic or brass,”.

The Legal Services Board gives notice that on the 26th day of March 1996, it issued the following instructions to come into force on the 6th day of May 1996.

The Legal Services Board (Civil Legal Aid Remuneration) Instructions 1992 and Legal Services Board (Criminal Legal Aid Remuneration) Instructions 1992, issued by the board on the 24th day of January 1992 and subsequently amended, are revoked by the new instructions. The new instructions increase the rates of remuneration for civil and criminal aid work.
