Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notification of Ordinary Rules

Pursuant to section 34 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of the ordinary rules set out in the Schedule hereto which shall come into force on the 18th day of February 1996.

Schedule

Civil Aviation Rules Part 21: Certification of products and parts, Amendment 2,

Civil Aviation Rules Part 63: Flight engineer licences and ratings, and

Civil Aviation Rules Part 148: Aircraft manufacturing organisations - Certification

These ordinary rules are available for inspection and purchase at the Head Office of the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt 6315.

Education and Training Support Agency

Industry Training Act 1992

Retail and Wholesale Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 18th day of December 1995, the Retail and Wholesale Industry Training Organisation Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Retail and Wholesale Industry.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:

Retail and Wholesale product knowledge; Retail and Wholesale product handling; Retail and Wholesale cash handling; Retail and Wholesale security stock and store systems and training; Retail and Wholesale Consumer Legislation; Retail and Wholesale stock control; Retail and Wholesale buying; Store and Warehouse Retail and Wholesale Management; Retail and Wholesale Store and Warehouse layout and design; Retail and Wholesale visual merchandising. Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested parties. Excluded from the coverage is the sale and resale of a number of products and the associated standard setting responsibilities covered by existing Industry Training Organisations.

Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 16th day of October 1995, the Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Electrical Generation and Supply Industry.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:

Management of Power Systems and Assets, Design, Construction, Operation, and Maintenance for the Production, Transmission and Utilisation of Electrical Energy. Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 18th day of December 1995, the New Zealand Society of Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Incorporated, was granted full recognition to extend its coverage as an Industry Training Organisation for the Flooring Industry.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas:

Installation of Resilient Floor Coverings. Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.
