Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to the section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares the land, described in the Schedule hereto, to be held for conservation purposes subject to the Conservation Act 1987, and it shall hereafter be so held.

Schedule

Canterbury Land District—Timaru District

9100 square metres, more or less, being Lots 1, 2 and 4, L.T. 68741, comprised in part transfer 644621, situated in Block V, Geraldine Survey District.

Reserves Act 1977

Amendment to a Notice Revoking a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby amends the notice dated 2 February 1996, revoking the reservation as a tramway reserve, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23 February 1995, No. 17 at page 584, by substituting the area of land referred to in the Schedule with the following:

"2.0234 hectares, being part Reserve 302. All Canterbury Gazette, 1864, page 84. S.O. Plan 2540."

Classification and Vesting of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose reserve (community use), subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, vests the said reserve in The Kapiti Coast District Council in trust for that purpose.

169 square metres, more or less, being Section 92, Wainui District, situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District. All C.T. 688/98.

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the appointment of the Royal Society for the Health of Women and Children (Coastal Towns Branch) Incorporated to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

169 square metres, more or less, being Section 92, Wainui District, situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District. All C.T. 688/98.

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, Wellington, hereby amends the notice of classification of reserve published in New Zealand Gazette, 8 September 1994, No. 91, page 2795, by deleting from the Schedule the reference "all New Zealand Gazette notice 118141.1" and substituting in its place "all C.T. 37B/212".
