The following statement is made, pursuant to section 17 of the Fiscal Responsibility Act 1994:

The Minister of Finance published the Budget Policy Statement on 13 February 1996, as required under section 13 of the Fiscal Responsibility Act 1994.

Copies of this document are available for inspection by members of the public at public libraries, which hold parliamentary papers.

Traffic Regulations 1976

Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Peter Nicholas Rendall, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 78A (c) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, subject to the conditions specified within Schedule 2 of this notice.

Conditions

(i) A 2-point lap seatbelt manufactured to an approved standard is fitted to the right hand seat position of the rearward facing rear seats;

(ii) Seatbelts manufactured to an approved standard are fitted to all other seat positions, as required by these regulations;

(iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time;

(iv) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and must be readily available for inspection.
