Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator and Notice for Creditors to Claim

The Companies Act 1955

On 27 February 1996, it was resolved by special resolution, pursuant to section 211 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, that Burwood Poultry Processors (1970) Limited be liquidated and that Peter William Young, chartered accountant of KPMG, Christchurch, be appointed as liquidator for the purpose.

The liquidation commenced on 27 February 1996.

The directors have resolved that the company will be able to pay its debts. Pursuant to section 213 (8) of the Companies Act 1955, a copy of the resolution has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

The 13th day of March 1996, is the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to make their claims, and to establish any priority their claims may have under section 286 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before their claims are made or excluded from objecting to any distribution made before the priority of their claim is established.

Pursuant to an order of the High Court at Auckland dated the 22nd day of December 1995, Kerry Thomas Stotter and Graeme George McDonald, chartered accountants of Auckland, were appointed jointly and severally as liquidators in place of the official assignee.

The liquidation commenced on the 27th day of July 1995.
