Pursuant to section 32 of the Defence Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

REGULAR FORCE

Appointments to Commission

Warrant Officer Class I David Charles Cossey, Royal N.Z. Army Ordnance Corps, is appointed to commission in the rank of Captain, with seniority and effect from 20 September 1996.

Warrant Officer Class I Kelvin John Hawley, The Corps of Royal N.Z. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, is appointed to commission in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster, with seniority from 20 September 1992 and effect from 20 September 1996.

Sergeant Richard Leslie McKee, N.Z. Intelligence Corps, is appointed to commission in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 23 August 1996.

Brigadiers' List

Brigadier G.W. Talbot, O.B.E., is re-engaged until 17 January 1997.

Colonels' List

Colonel I.J. Duthie to be Brigadier with seniority and effect from 25 February 1995 and is transferred to the Brigadiers' List.
