(No. 5), Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together and deemed part of The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1996 (No. 5) (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—Clause 2 of the principal notice is hereby amended by deleting the definition of “electricity price futures contract” and substituting the following definition:

“electricity price futures contract” means a futures contract relating to wholesale prices of electricity or prices of transmission of electricity between persons who are named in clause 3 (2) (a) of this notice.

3. Clause 3 (2) (a) of principal notice amended—Clause 3 (2) (a) of the principal notice is hereby amended by adding the following subparagraph:

(xii) Electricity Market Company Limited or EMCO Clearing House Limited.

4. Schedule of principal notice amended—The Schedule to the principal notice is hereby amended by adding the name “Electricity Market Company Limited”.

5. Revocation—The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1994 (No. 4) is hereby revoked.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve, over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Waipa District Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine; the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
