Fire Service Act 1975

Mid-Canterbury Fire Districts Notice, September 1996

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Mid-Canterbury Fire Districts Notice, September 1996.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 27th day of September 1996.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for the previous agreements for protection of the towns listed in the Schedule between the New Zealand Fire Service and the Selwyn and Banks Peninsula District Councils.

Constitution of Fire Districts

4. The urban areas of the towns listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted as fire districts.

5. The boundaries of the constituted fire districts are defined and delineated on plans held at the National Office, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Kukuparere Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error, the Acting Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, hereby revokes the notice Authorising the Exchange of Part of Kukuparere Scenic Reserve for Other Land dated 20 January 1980 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 4 February 1981, No. 11, page 228.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve and Along With Adjoining Reserve Land to be Known as the Henderson's Mill Cottage Historic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Waitakere City Council on the 22nd day of May 1996:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Waitakere City Council hereby resolves that those pieces of land held in fee simple, and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are declared to be, a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act".

Furthermore, the Acting Regional Conservator hereby declares that the land described in the First Schedule, together with the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be known as the Henderson's Mill Cottage Historic Reserve.
