Crown Land Set Apart for Road and Local Purpose Reserve (Esplanade) and Road Stopped and Added to Adjoining Local Purpose Reserve (Esplanade), Middletons Bay, Opunake

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the Crown land firstly described in the First Schedule hereto, to be set apart for road and shall vest in The South Taranaki District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 (1), the Crown land secondly described in the First Schedule hereto, to be set apart for local purpose reserve (esplanade), subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in The South Taranaki District Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 (7), the area of road firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto, be stopped, and that area “B”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 13535, be added to the adjoining land secondly described in the First Schedule, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and to remain vested in The South Taranaki District Council.

(d) Pursuant to section 116, the area of road secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto, be stopped, and that area “A”, now known as Section 3, S.O. 13535, be, pursuant to section 118, automatically a local purpose reserve (esplanade) subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and to remain vested in The South Taranaki District Council.

Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes, Brixton

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands, hereby amends the declaration published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18 July 1996, No. 73, page 1832, by omitting the words:

“declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is set apart for railway purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette”

and substituting the following:

“declares that the land first described in the Schedule hereto, is set apart for railway purposes and shall vest in the Crown and that the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, is set apart for railway purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown, on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette”

and further by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule:
