(2) Subject to the restrictions set out in 9 (1) above, no person shall on any one day take or kill or be in possession of more than six sports fish per day.

  1. Minimum Size to be Taken—(1) No person shall take or be in possession of any trout or salmon which does not exceed in length—

(a) In the case of any trout taken from the Water of Leith and Teviot River, 20 cm.

(b) In the case of salmon taken from the Water of Leith, 45 cm.

(c) In the case of trout or salmon taken from any other water, 25 cm

(e) In the case of trout for Lakes Onslow, McKeller and Sylvan, no size limit.

(f) In the case of perch, no size limit.

(2) Every person taking a trout or salmon which does not exceed the specified length shall immediately return it with as little injury as possible into the water from which it was taken. In no limit areas, all fish take must be removed from the lake margins.

  1. Revocation—The notice published in the supplement to the Gazette, No. 89 of 1 September 1994, commencing on page 2700, titled District Anglers (Otago Fish and Game Region) Notice 1994, and amendment No.1 are hereby revoked.
