Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of the declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in balance certificate of title No. 5B/83, Canterbury Land Registry.

(a) Pursuant to section 55, revokes the notice dated the 8th day of March 1995, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 March 1995, No. 24 at page 758 and registered in the Otago Land Registry as No. 878543, declaring land held for Government purposes (rangers house and workshop) to be set apart for police purposes.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 (1), declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart for police purposes.
