In the matter of the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993:

Pursuant to section 144 (2) of the Films, Videos and Publications Classification Act 1993, the Attorney-General hereby delegates his power to give leave to commence prosecutions, for offences against the said Films, Videos and Publications Classification Act 1993, to the Commissioner of Police in all cases of alleged offences in respect of objectionable and restricted publications.

Education Act 1989

Board of Trustees Election

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election was held on the 14th day of August 1995, for the board of trustees of the following school:

Southcity Christian School, Hamilton.

The proprietors of the said school are entering into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education, pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The first meeting of the board of trustees will be held on the 9th day of September 1995.

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of Commissioner—South Westland Area School

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the South Westland Area School Board of Trustees and appoint Mr Allan Beaumont as Commissioner to act in its place.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of a Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, acting under the authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 3 July 1995, which was granted under those regulations to Joanna De-Bono on behalf of Otago Playcentre Association in respect of the Roslyn Playcentre.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
