Termination of Dumping Investigation: Disposable Lighters From Indonesia
Notice is hereby given that, acting pursuant to section 11 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, I have terminated a dumping investigation in respect of flint-operated non-refillable disposable lighters from Indonesia, as described in the Notice of Initiation of Dumping Investigation of 8 May 1995 (New Zealand Gazette, 11 May 1995, pages 1143–1144).
Because I am satisfied under section 11 (1) (b) of that Act that, as a result of investigations carried out, there is insufficient evidence that material injury to a New Zealand industry has been or is being caused or is threatened by means of the dumping of the lighters, I have followed my statutory obligation to terminate the investigation.
Dated at Wellington this 17th day of August 1995.
PHILIP BURDON, Minister of Commerce.
