No. 87

(2) Every licence holder taking a trout or salmon which does not exceed the specified length shall immediately return it with as little injury as possible into the water from which it was taken.

Revocation—The notice published in the supplement to the Gazette, 1992, No. 136, pages 2915–2918, together with amendments no. 1 and No. 2, are hereby revoked.

DISTRICT ANGLERS (SOUTHLAND FISH AND GAME REGION) NOTICE 1990, AMENDMENT NO. 5

Pursuant to section 26r (3) of Conservation Act 1987 the Southland Fish and Game Council amends the District Anglers (Southland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 1990, No. 151, pages 3221-3222.

Title and Commencement—(1) This amending notice may be cited as the District Anglers (Southland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990, Amendment No.5, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the District Anglers (Southland Fish and Game Region) Notice 1990 (hereinafter referred to as the “principal notice”).
Daily limit bag—(1) Clause 11 of the principal notice is amended by deleting from subclauses 11 (1), (2), (3), and (4) the word “salmon” wherever it appears.

(2) Clause 11 of the principal notice is amended by adding the following sub clause:

(6) No licence holder shall in any one day kill or possess more than 2 salmon from any waters of the region.
