Education Act 1989

Board of Trustees Election

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election will be held on the 15th day of August 1995, for the board of trustees of the following school:

St Martin’s Christian School, Christchurch.

The proprietors of the said school are entering into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The first meeting of the board of trustees will be held on the 4th day of September 1995.

Pursuant to regulation 27 (3) and regulation 40 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, the Secretary of Education hereby recognises the following first aid qualifications:

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 July 1993, which was granted under those regulations to Ngapera Hoerara in respect of Te Herenga Waka Tuarua Kohanga Reo, 48A Devon Street, Kelburn.

The centre has re-established as a Maori Medium Early Childhood Centre under the name Te Whare Kohungahunga O Ahumairangi as from the 29 May 1995.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:
