Pursuant to Part II and Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway 1 and vested in the Crown.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, 117 and 120 (5) declares:

(i) The road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with renewable lease registered No. A4/59.

(ii) The road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with renewable lease registered No. F2/460.
