Advertising Rates
The following rates for the insertion of materials in the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:
Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Companies Act, Insolvency Act, and Public Works Act — 55c per word (no matter how big or small)*.
Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Change of Company Name notices, Regulation Summaries—60c per word (no matter how big or small)*.
*Any word or group of alphas or numerals with a comma or full-point imbedded in it will count as two words.
*Any word or letter ending with a full-point, comma, shilling stroke (whether followed by a word space or no word space will count as one word, e.g., D.X. = 2 words. The full point, comma, shilling stroke ends the word, and what follows starts another word.)
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.
All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.
Bankruptcy Notices
Order Prohibiting Bankrupt From Carrying on in Business After Discharge
The following order was made in the High Court at Napier on the 1st day of June 1995:
That pursuant to section 111 of the Insolvency Act 1967,
David Sydney Howard Wood, former bankrupt of Auckland, formerly of Hastings, is prohibited after discharge from doing the following things without leave of the Court:
(a) Entering into or carrying on any business or class of business either alone or in partnership with any person;
(b) Being engaged in the management or control of any business carried on by or on behalf of, or being in the employ of, any of the following persons, namely, the bankrupt’s wife or husband, a lineal ancestor or descendant of the bankrupt, the wife or husband of such an ancestor or descendant, a brother of the bankrupt, the wife of such a brother, a sister of the bankrupt, and the husband of such a sister;
(c) Acting as a director or taking part directly or indirectly in the management of any company or class of company.
