Notice of Application for Approval by the Court of a Scheme for Varying the Mode of Administering of the Okains Bay Maori and Colonial Museum Trust
In the High Court of New Zealand, Christchurch Registry and in the matter of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of Okains Bay Maori and Colonial Museum Trust:
Take notice that the trustees of the Okains Bay Maori and Colonial Museum Trust have applied to the High Court of New Zealand at Christchurch for approval of a scheme prepared under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. The application seeks orders varying the mode of administration of the trust by amending the deed of trust in respect of trustees deriving income benefit or advantage from the trust, appointment of members to the board, proceedings of the board, accounts and interpretation of terms.
The application is to be heard before the High Court at Christchurch on the 21st day of August 1995. Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of her or his intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Christchurch, the trustees of the Okains Bay Maori and Colonial Museum Trust and the Attorney-General not less than 7 days before the date proposed for the hearing of the application by the Court.
Further particulars of the application may be obtained from the memorandum of proposed scheme, the affidavit of Robert George Boughton and the report of the Attorney-General, copies of which may be obtained from the office of the High Court at Christchurch or from the trustees, Okains Bay Maori and Colonial Museum Trust, care of Woodward Toomey, Solicitors, 291 Madras Street, Christchurch.
