Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1995, No. 4.

2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule are, in relation only to the pieces of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Public Works Act 1981

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Road and Stopping and Vesting Road in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, hereby amends the notice dated the 31st day of January 1995 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 2 February 1995, No. 8, page 327, declaring land road and stopping and vesting road in Otorohanga District by:

(a) Deleting “to be taken and further declares the said land (now known as Section 2, S.O. 55394)” from paragraph (c).

(b) Inserting “now known as Section 2, S.O. 55934,” after “hereto” in paragraph (c).

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Matamata-Piako District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to the right of way easement described in the Second Schedule hereto, over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant to the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
