Appointment of Independent Counsellor

Under section 12 (1) of the Adult Adoption Information Act 1985, the Minister of Social Welfare has appointed

Michelle Beavan of Hamilton

as an independent counsellor.

This appointment permits the above-named to provide counselling services to adopted people under sections 3 (2) (a), 5 (2) (a) (ii), 6 (a) (i) and 7 (2) (a) of the Adult Adoption Information Act 1985. This appointment is effective from 7 April 1995.\n

Pursuant to section EG 14 of the Income Tax Act 1994, notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of the Inland Revenue Department has issued “Determination DEP 9: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 9”, pursuant to section EG 4 of the Income Tax Act 1994. The determination may be cited as “Determination DEP 9: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 9”. The determination is available from Inland Revenue offices.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Application to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to sections 14 and 14A of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that an application has been made to amend the International Air Service Licence issued to Air New Zealand to enable the airline to operate to Nagoya from Christchurch, in addition to Auckland.

Further details of this proposal are available from the Secretary for Transport, Minister of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington.

Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 4 May 1995.
