Public Notice of Appointment of Receivers and Managers

Pursuant to Section 8 (1) (b) of the Receiverships Act 1993

David Donald Crichton and Trevor Francis Thornton, chartered accountants, both of Christchurch, whose office address is at the firm of Grant Thornton, Chartered Accountants, Eighth Floor, AMP Centre, Cathedral Square (P.O. Box 2099), Christchurch, hereby give notice that on 29th day of March 1995, they were appointed by Foodstuffs (South Island) Limited to be jointly and severally receivers and managers of all the undertaking, property and assets of L J & I Iorns Limited charged by a certain debenture dated 28 July 1993, given by L J & I Iorns Limited in favour of Foodstuffs (South Island) Limited, Cash Wholesalers (South Island) Limited and Foodstuffs (South Island) Properties Limited.

The receivers and managers have been appointed jointly and severally in respect of all the company’s undertaking and all its real and personal property, goodwill and assets, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, both present and future, including its uncalled capital and called but unpaid capital.
