Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Notice of Review of Need for Continued Imposition of Anti-dumping Duty on Certain Types of Plasterboard from Thailand

I hereby give notice that, pursuant to section 14 (5) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, I have initiated a review of the need for the continued imposition of anti-dumping duty on the goods described in the Schedule to this notice. Anti-dumping duty was imposed on these goods in a notice dated 21 March 1989, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 January 1990; amended in a notice dated 1 March 1990 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 8 March 1990; and reassessed duty was imposed in a notice dated 9 April 1991, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18 April 1991.

Thailand.

Description of Goods

Plasterboard, being standard or foil-backed plasterboard having nominal dimensions of 9 mm or 9.5 mm thickness by 1200 mm width by 2400 mm to 3600 mm length.

The goods are currently classifiable under Tariff Items and Statistical Keys 6809.11.00.10D and 6809.19.00.10L of the Tariff of New Zealand. These Tariff Items and Statistical Keys are provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive.

Education Act 1989

Dissolution of Board of Trustees

Pursuant to section 107 (1) of the Education Act 1989, I am satisfied that the Nga Tapuwae College Board of Trustees should not continue in existence by reason of mismanagement, incompetence and disharmony amongst the trustees and I hereby dissolve the Nga Tapuwae College Board of Trustees and direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a Commissioner to act in its place.

Pursuant to section 92 of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, I, Judith Anne Johnston, Acting Director-General of Health, hereby give notice as follows:

Notice

  1. The notices referred to in the First Schedule are hereby revoked.

  2. The notice referred to in the Second Schedule is hereby amended by replacing the area set out in the left hand column of the Schedule to that notice with the area described in the Third Schedule hereto.

  3. The notice referred to in the Second Schedule is further amended by replacing the names of the persons designated as Directors of Area Mental Health Services in the right hand column of the schedule to that notice in respect of the area amended by this notice with the names set out in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
