Land Acquired for Road (State Highway No. 2)
in Whakatane District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment in Rotorua District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Rotorua District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(c) Pursuant to section 117, declares the piece of stopped road firstly described, now known as Section 1, S.O. 59630, to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 49D/196, South Auckland Land Registry.

(d) Pursuant to section 117, declares the piece of stopped road fourthly described, now known as Section 3, S.O. 59630, to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 6C/401, subject to memoranda of mortgage H. 311968, H. 428177 and B. 016987.2 and to Land Improvement Agreements B. 006998 and B. 072151, South Auckland Land Registry.

(e) Pursuant to section 118, declares the pieces of stopped road secondly, fifthly, sixthly, seventhly and eighthly described, now known as Sections 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7, S.O. 59630 respectively, to be esplanade reserves, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and vested in The Rotorua District Council.

(f) Pursuant to section 117, declares the piece of stopped road ninthly described, now known as Section 8, S.O. 59630, to be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.
