Board of Trustees Election

Pursuant to section 101 of the Education Act 1989, notice is given that the first election was held on the 8th day of December 1994, for the board of trustees of the following school:

Maranatha Christian School, Lower Hutt.

The proprietors of the said school are entering into an integration agreement with the Minister of Education pursuant to the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975. The first meeting of the board of trustees will be held on the 13th day of March 1995.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Joseph’s School, Fairfield.

The said supplementary agreement was executed on the 1st day of March 1995. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Addington Catholic School, Christchurch.

The said supplementary agreement was executed on the 26th day of February 1995. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 123 Victoria Street, Christchurch.

St Pius XavIer School, Titahi Bay.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 2nd day of March 1995. A copy of the supplementary agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the district office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

St Matthew’s School (Attendance Dues) Notice 1995

Pursuant to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at St Matthew’s School, Hastings.

Notice

1. This notice shall be cited as the St Matthew’s School (Attendance Dues) Notice 1995.

2. The proprietor of the above-named school may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-named school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $170 (inclusive of G.S.T.) per annum.

4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education, pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated school.
