Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator

The Companies Act 1955

On 15 February 1995, it was resolved by special resolution, pursuant to section 211 of the Companies Act 1955, that Harrup Investments Limited be liquidated and that Kerry Thomas Stotter and Graeme George McDonald, chartered accountants of Auckland, be appointed jointly and severally as liquidators for the purpose.

The liquidation commenced on the 15th day of February 1995.

Creditors and shareholders may make direct enquiries to us during normal business hours at the address and telephone number stated below.

The directors have resolved that the company will be able to pay its debts. Pursuant to section 213 (8) of the Companies Act 1955, a copy of the resolution has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of the above-named company which is being liquidated, does hereby fix the 16th day of March 1995, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to make their claims, and to establish any priority their claims may have under section 286 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before their claims are made or excluded from objecting to any distribution made before the priority of their claim is established.

Appointment of Liquidator

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Christchurch Sheep Show (NZ) Limited:

Notice is hereby given that by a duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company, pursuant to section 211 (2) (a) and 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, on the 7th day of February 1995, the following special resolution was passed by the company:

“That the company be put into liquidation at the request of the shareholders and the directors.”

“That George Stanley Brown and David William Strijbis, both of Ashburton, be appointed liquidator of the company, pursuant to section 211 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1955.”

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of the company is to be held in the premises of the Christchurch Sheep Show (NZ) Limited (in liquidation) being 472 Cranford Street, Christchurch on the 24th day of February 1995 at 2.00 p.m.

Forms of general and special proxies are available from the office of the liquidator, care of Brophy, Knight & Partners, 144 Tancred Street (P.O. Box 314), Ashburton.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged at the office of the liquidators no later than 12.30 o’clock in the afternoon of the 22nd day of February 1995.
