Comments are invited on the following proposed rules being developed under the Maritime Transport Act 1994:
Part 141—Ship Design, Construction, Equipment and Operation - Chemical Carriers.
Part 142A—Documents (Certificates).
Part 142B—Documents (Record Books and Manuals).
Comments should be made by 29 February 1996.

Himatangi Beach and Oakura Fire Districts Notice 1995
Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.
Notice

This notice may be cited as the Himatangi Beach and Oakura Fire Districts Notice 1995.

This notice shall come into force on the 18th day of December 1995.

This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the districts listed in the Schedule.
Constitution of Fire Districts

The urban areas of the towns listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted into fire districts.

The boundaries of the constituted fire districts as listed are defined and delineated on plans held at the national office of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Pursuant to section 44A of the Public Finance Act 1989, as substituted by section 40 of the Public Finance Amendment Act 1994, the New Zealand Historic Places Trust hereby gives notice that it has delivered to the Minister of Conservation its annual report for the year ending 30 June 1995, containing its financial statements, audit report and management statement for the period and has, with the consent of the Minister of Conservation, published the annual report.

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995 (No. 8)
Pursuant to the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice:
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995 (No. 8).
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires—
“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;
“the company” means ANZ McCaughan Securities (NZ) Limited.
(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.

ANZ McCaughan Securities (NZ) Limited authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) The company is authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts of a specified class, namely, margin foreign exchange trading contracts, made on or effected through:
(a) an authorised futures exchange; or
(b) a futures exchange in a country other than than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country to operate as a futures exchange.
(3) The authorisation granted by subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the conditions that:
(a) the company deals in margin foreign exchange contracts on behalf of no person other than ANZ McCaughan Futures Limited;
(b) the company does not hold or have any interest in any margin foreign exchange trading contract as a principal;
(c) the company does not accept or hold client money or client property in connection with margin foreign exchange trading contracts;
