Return of the Governor-General From Overseas
Her Excellency the Governor-General, Dame Catherine Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., returned to Whenuapai at 6.00 p.m. on Friday, 20 October 1995, following an official visit to Niue.
Her Excellency has now resumed the performance of all functions of the office of Governor-General. Accordingly, the Right Honourable Sir Thomas Eichelbaum, G.B.E., has relinquished the office of the Administrator of the Government.
