Provisional Consent to the Distribution of a New Medicine

Pursuant to section 23 of the Medicines Act 1981, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new medicine set out in the Schedule hereto:

Note: This medicine may only be distributed, supplied, or used under conditions to be imposed from time to time by the Director-General of Health.

Income Tax Act 1994

Determination of Tax Depreciation Rates

Pursuant to section EG 14 of the Income Tax Act 1994, notice is hereby given that the Commissioner of Inland Revenue has issued “Determination PROV 4: Tax Depreciation Rates Provisional Determination Number 4”, pursuant to section EG 10 of the Income Tax Act 1994. The determination applies to the CCH Electronic New Zealand Essential Tax Package, designed for a specific income year and the CCH Electronic New Zealand Master Tax Guide, designed for a specific income year. The determination may be cited as “Determination PROV 4: Tax Depreciation Rates Provisional Determination Number 4”. The determination is available from Inland Revenue offices.

Patriotic and Canteen Funds Act 1947

Members of the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Board Appointed

Pursuant to section 4 of the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Act 1947, as amended by the Patriotic and Canteen Funds Amendment Act 1987, the Minister of Internal Affairs appoints the following persons to be members of the New Zealand Patriotic and Canteen Funds Board, for a period of 2 years commencing on the 1st day of January 1995:

Mr Arthur Henry Woodham of Hokitika to represent the Westland Provincial Patriotic Council;

Mr Alan Laurence Anderson, J.P. of Auckland to represent the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council; and

Mr David Alexander Miller of Dunedin to represent the Otago Provincial Patriotic Council.
