- The CAIDI for the total of all interruptions, which shall be calculated in accordance with the following formula:

where -
a
is the sum obtained by adding together the interruption duration factors for all interruptions; and
b
is the sum obtained by adding together the number of electricity customers affected by each of those interruptions.

- The CAIDI for the total number of interruptions within each interruption class, which shall be calculated in accordance with the following formula:

\frac{a}{b}
$$
where -
a
is the sum obtained by adding together the interruption duration factors for all interruptions within the particular interruption class; and
b
is the sum obtained by adding together the number of electricity customers affected by each of those interruptions.
