Amendment Notice

Pursuant to section 155 (8) of the Education Act 1989, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Education, the Group
Manager Implementation, Ministry of Education,
Wellington, hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Te Kura Kaupapa Maori
   O Nga Mokopuna Amendment Notice 1994.

2. The notice entitled, “Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Te
   Whanganui-a-Tara”, published in the New Zealand Gazette
   of 9 September 1993, No. 131, page 2679, is hereby
   amended by revoking clause 5 and substituting the
   following clause:

“5. Constitution of the Board of Trustees—The Board of
Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Nga Mokopuna
shall comprise:

(a) five (5) elected parent representatives

(b) the principal

(c) a staff representative

(d) not more than four (4) persons co-opted by the
Board”.

3. This notice shall come into force on the day after the
   date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Regulations 1990

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood
Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early
Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990 and acting under
authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby
cancel the licence dated 18 December 1992 which was
granted under those regulations to Cecil Hohepa in respect
of Maunganui Te Kohanga Reo, 35B Granada Street,
Mount Maunganui.

The centre has ceased operating at the above address.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990 and acting under

granted under those regulations to Auli Castro in respect of
Sunbeam Kindergarten, 62A Marama Crescent, New
Plymouth.

The centre ceased operating on 15 December 1994.
