Education Act 1989

Dissolution of Board of Trustees and Appointment of a Commissioner

Pursuant to section 106 (1) (aa) of the Education Act 1989, for the reason that so many casual vacancies have arisen that there is no longer any member of the board who is eligible to preside at meetings of the board, I hereby dissolve the Te Haroto School Board of Trustees and appoint Mr Jim Shand as Commissioner to act in its place.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990

Cancellation of a Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to regulation 14 (1) (c) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under the authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated the 20th day of May 1994, which was granted under those regulations to Charley Tonkin, in respect of Canaan Kindergarten, 90A Victoria Road, Devonport, Auckland.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Licensing Points Required for People Responsible and Co-Ordinators in Early Childhood Services—Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990 and Education (Home Based Care) Order 1992

Pursuant to regulation 40 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990 and clause 45 of the Education (Home Based Care) Order 1992, I hereby recognise for the purpose of those regulations and code the following licensing points for persons responsible in early childhood centres and for co-ordinators of home based care networks:

100 licensing points verified by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

This notice amends the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th day of July 1991, No. 110, page 2430, (b) and (c).

This notice comes into effect on 1 January 1995.

The Resource Management (Approval of Friends of Mount Street Cemetery Incorporated as Heritage Protection Authority) Notice 1994

Pursuant to section 188 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment, hereby gives the following notice:

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Friends of Mount Street Cemetery Incorporated as Heritage Protection Authority) Notice 1994.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Approval as a heritage protection authority—The Friends of Mount Street Cemetery Incorporated is hereby approved as a heritage protection authority for the purpose of protecting the Mount Street Cemetery described as being:

All that parcel of land containing ONE ACRE TWENTY-THREE AND SEVEN-TENTHS PERCHES (4646 square metres), more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part of Reserve 7 (Roman Catholic Cemetery), Town of Wellington AND BEING ALSO Lot 1 of Deposited Plan 8081. All certificate of title 370/113, Wellington Land Registry.

Subject to the following conditions:

(i) That the Friends of Mount Street Cemetery Incorporated do not give notice to the Wellington City Council of its requirement for a heritage order in respect of the Mount Street Cemetery until it has submitted a report of its financial position to the Secretary for the Environment; and

(ii) That the Friends of Mount Street Cemetery
