Hop Marketing Regulations 1939

New Zealand Hop Marketing Board Election (Notice No. 5376)

Pursuant to clause 11 of the Schedule to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of 5 producers’ representatives on the Hop Marketing Board will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places: viz, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Motueka, and the offices of New Zealand Hop Products Limited, Blackbyre Road, Appleby.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 7 September 1994, during which time any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing to any entry on the roll.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application from the Returning Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Motueka.

Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the third Wednesday in September (21 September 1994).

Colonel Commandant

Brigadier G.A. Hitchings, C.B.E., Retired List, is appointed Colonel Commandant, RNZA, for a period of four years with effect from 1 May 1994, vice Major General R.D.P. Hassett, C.B., C.B.E., Retired List.

Temporary Lieutenant Colonel P.S. Southwell to be Lieutenant Colonel with seniority and effect from 7 July 1991.

Major M.I. Pope is transferred to the Army Reserve, General List of Officers, with effect from 29 December 1993 and to the Territorial Force with effect from 13 January 1994.
