Notice of Entry into Possession of Mortgaged Property

Pursuant to Section 104DD of the Property Law Act 1952

Take notice that on the 23rd day of August 1994 Countrywide Banking Corporation Limited (formerly United Bank Limited) by virtue of memorandum of mortgage number C. 175334.2 (North Auckland Registry) entered into possession of the property situated at 133 Wallace Road, Mangere Bridge, being all the land comprised in certificate of title 19A/1060.

The registered office of Countrywide Banking Corporation Limited is 280 Queen Street, Auckland.

Any correspondence pertaining to this matter should be directed to Rudd Watts & Stone, solicitors for the mortgagee at P.O. Box 3798, Auckland 1 (Attention: J. A. Henry).

All persons having claims against the estate of Jody Lance Moana, late of Hoe-O-Tainui, driver/yardman, who died on the 20th day of February 1993, are required to render full details thereof, duly certified as owing at date of death, the 20th day of February 1993 to McDermott & McIntosh, Solicitors, P.O. Box 118, Huntly, on or before the 30th day of September 1994.

Creditors and other claimants are warned that claims not lodged by such date will be excluded from payment in accordance with the provisions of section 35 of the Trustee Act.

Notice of Proposal to Promote an Indicative Referendum Petition

Pursuant to section 7 of the Citizens Initiated Referenda Act 1993, I give notice that I have received from Mr William Maung Maung a proposal to promote an indicative referendum petition.

The wording of the question proposed to be put to voters in an indicative referendum is:

“Do you want a Constitutional Enactment to enable the enforcement of political accountability?”

Comment is invited on this wording. Anyone wishing to comment must send 3 written copies to the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Bowen House, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, by 5 p.m. on Friday, the 7th day of October 1994.

Long Term Care of the Elderly Committee

Long term care of the elderly in public and private hospitals has been subject to an assets test since 1 July 1993.

This bill establishes a multiparty committee to report on the funding and provision of long stay care of the elderly. Membership would be drawn from all parties represented in Parliament. (Hon Clive Matthewson/Referred to Social Services Committee)
