Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Otorohanga District Council on the 10th day of May 1994:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Otorohanga District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said Council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

Revoking the Declaration of Land as a Wildlife Refuge—Wairau Lagoon (formerly Marlborough Acclimatisation District)

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke that part of the Proclamation, made on the 27th day of March 1959 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 20 on the 2nd day of April 1959 at page 411, referring to all that area of land described in the Second Schedule to that Proclamation as 2. Wairau Lagoon.

Given under the hand of Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of July 1994.

Amending Notice Re-aligning Road (State Highway No. 54), at Te Arakura, Manawatu District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated the 20th day of June 1994, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 June 1994, No. 62, page 2092, re-aligning road (State Highway No. 54), at Te Arakura, Manawatu District, by deleting from the First Schedule the words and figures:

"(All parts Gazette notice B. 313057.1)"

and substituting in their place:

"(All parts Gazette notice B. 313057.4)".

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Waikato Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
