Notice is hereby given that the declaration of dissolution dated the 7th day of July 1994, and appearing in New Zealand Gazette, No. 70, dated the 14th day of July 1994, of the under-mentioned charitable trust is hereby revoked with effect from the date of dissolution.

Advertisement of Application for Order to Vary a Charitable Trust by the Court

In the High Court of New Zealand, Hamilton Registry
In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of Waikato Technical Institute Village Trust—Defendant:

Take notice that pursuant to Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, the applicant has filed a proposal in the High Court at Hamilton. In terms of that proposal the applicant’s trust fund is to be transferred to the Waikato Technical Institute Residents’ Trust Board. The trust fund comprises bank deposits totalling approximately $81,500. The basis of the proposed transfer is that the purpose specified in the applicants trust deed (the completion of the Waikato Polytechnic Student Village) has been effected, and that the residue of the trust fund is surplus to the applicant’s requirements.

A copy of the proposal may be inspected (free of charge) at the office of the High Court of New Zealand’s (Hamilton) Registry during normal Court hours.

The hearing of the application in the High Court for an order approving the proposal will be held in the High Court at Hamilton on Friday, the 26th day of August 1994 at 9.15 a.m.

Any person desiring to oppose the proposal must give written notice of such intention to the Registrar of the High Court of New Zealand (Hamilton Registry), the Applicant, and the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before the aforementioned date of hearing.

Notice may be given to the applicant by delivering the same to the offices of Harkness Henry & Co, Solicitors for the Applicant, Seventh and Eighth Floors, Peat Marwick Tower, 85 Alexandra Street, Hamilton.
