Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Notice of Approval of a Statement of Preferred Work Practices Under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Pursuant to section 20(3) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, and whereas subsections (3) (a) and (3) (b) of section 20 of that Act have been fulfilled and complied with, the Minister of Labour hereby gives notice that he approves a statement of preferred work practices which is an Approved Code of Practice entitled “Managing Hazards to Prevent Major Industrial Accidents”.

At Wellington this 11th day of July 1994

Present:

HER EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O r d e r

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Lake Dunstan) Order 1994.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Lake Dunstan harbour limits redefined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this order are hereby defined as the limits of the Lake Dunstan harbour.

Schedule

All the waters of the Clutha River and tributaries that form the lake known as Lake Dunstan and being located upstream of the Clyde Dam.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O r d e r

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Harbour Limits (Kaituna River) Order 1994.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Kaituna River harbour limits redefined—The limits specified in the Schedule to this order are hereby defined as the limits of the Kaituna River harbour.

  2. Revocation—The Order in Council defining the harbour limits of Maketu Estuary and Little Waihi Estuary, Kaituna River, and the Waioeka and Otara Rivers* is hereby consequentially amended:

(a) By revoking so much of the Schedule as relates to the Kaituna River, and

(b) By omitting from the order all other references to the Kaituna River.

Schedule

All the waters from the Rotorua District boundary across the Kaituna River at a point at the approximate position 37° 56.2’S and 176° 20.6’E to the inner limit of the territorial sea across the mouth of the Kaituna River.
