Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Promoted Outside New Zealand

Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Warren Cooper, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Ajax Chemicals, Australia, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme for Castle Laundry Powder, Automatic Dishwashing Powder and Bio-Joy.

Conditions

The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:

(1) Ajax Chemicals shall not conduct the lottery within New Zealand after 31 January 1995.

(2) The results of the lottery shall be published in the Sunday Star Times on 4 March 1995.

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any disadvantage as a result of winning a prize. All cash prizes will be provided in the New Zealand equivalent of Australian currency, according to the exchange rate on the day the cheque is drawn. If the exchange rate is A$1=NZ$1.24 then New Zealand winners of a $10 token will receive $12.40.

(4) A New Zealand participant shall have a chance of winning which is equivalent to that of an overseas participant.

(1) Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Limited, shall not conduct the lottery within New Zealand after 31 October 1994.

(2) The results of the lottery shall be published in the Sunday Star Times on 20 November 1994.

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any disadvantage as a result of winning a prize.

(4) A New Zealand participant shall have a chance of winning which is equivalent to that of an overseas participant.
