be required to pay deemed value for 1 tonne of BNS 1 and wishes to offer a lease of HPB 1 then the amount that can be offered is 1 tonne × .71 tonnes of HPB 1.
(3) The bycatch species must have been taken while fishing for the target species using the method or any of the methods specified: e.g. in the case of the above example, the BNS 1 bycatch must have been taken using the methods of Handlining, Drop/Dahn Lines, Trot Lines or Bottom Longlining.
(4) Any offers that relate to bycatch species as specified in this notice must relate to fishing that has occurred in the months of July, August or September 1994 respectively.
- Revocation—(1) The Fisheries (Bycatch Trade-Off) Notice (No. 2) 1994, Notice 5341 appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 5th day of May 1994, No. 42 at page 1560 is hereby revoked.
(2) The Fisheries (Bycatch Trade-Off) Notice (No. 3) 1994, Notice 5345 appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 19th day of May 1994, No. 48 at page 1699 is hereby revoked.
