I, Keith Haunui Kana, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, hereby declare that as it has been made to appear to me that the declaration dissolving the Tauranga Country Music Club Incorporated HN. I.S. 212551, was made in error and that declaration ought to be revoked, the said declaration is hereby revoked accordingly, pursuant to section 28 (5) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908.

Notice of Decision of Committee of Appeal
Notice is hereby given by the Committee of Appeal of the New Zealand Society of Accountants that at a conjoint hearing held on the 13th day of June 1994, the Committee heard submissions made on behalf of Douglas Alexander Edwards of Wellington on his appeal against the orders of the Disciplinary Committee made on the 28th day of February 1994.
The Disciplinary Committee heard charges against Douglas Alexander Edwards at a conjoint hearing held on the 28th day of February 1994 in that he been convicted of crimes of dishonesty and of grave impropriety.
Douglas Alexander Edwards appeared before the Disciplinary Committee and pleaded guilty to the charges. The Disciplinary Committee found the charges proved, based on evidence that was heard and received at that hearing.
Pursuant to section 23 (3) (a) of the New Zealand Society of Accountants Act 1958, the Disciplinary Committee ordered that Douglas Alexander Edwards be removed from the Register of Members of the Society and fixed the date of the 28th day of February 1999, after which Douglas Alexander Douglas may apply for re-registration under this Act. Douglas Alexander Edwards was ordered to pay to the society the sum of $10,726.97 (incl. G.S.T.) in respect of costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the Disciplinary Committee and the investigation by the Investigation Committee.
The Disciplinary Committee ordered that its decision be published in the Accountant’s Journal, and New Zealand Gazette with mention of the member’s name and locality.
Pursuant to section 25 of the New Zealand Society of Accountants Act 1958, the member appealed against the decision of costs.
The Committee of Appeal upheld the appeal and amended the Disciplinary Committee’s order in respect of costs for the member to pay to the society the amount of $6,700 (incl. G.S.T.). The Committee of Appeal confirmed the remaining orders of the Disciplinary Committee.
