Pursuant to Section 8 (1) (b) of the Companies Act 1955

David Donald Crichton and Trevor Francis Thornton, both of Christchurch, chartered accountants, whose office address is at the firm of Grant Thornton, Chartered Accountants, Eighth Floor, AMP Building, Cathedral Square (P.O. Box 2099), Christchurch, hereby give notice that on the 5th day of July 1994 they were appointed by Foodstuffs (South Island) Limited, to be jointly and severally receivers and managers of all the undertaking property and assets of J E & J M Taylor Limited, charged by a certain debenture, dated the 17th day of December 1992, given by J E & J M Taylor Limited in favour of Foodstuffs (South Island) Limited, Cash Wholesalers (South Island) Limited and Foodstuffs (South Island) Properties Limited.

The receivers and managers have been appointed jointly and severally in respect of all the company’s undertaking and all its real and personal property, goodwill and assets, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, both present and future, including its uncalled capital and called but unpaid •cature.

Murray Neil Frost and Lindsay John Brown, chartered accountants (whose offices are care of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, 481 Moray Place, Dunedin), hereby give notice that on the 7th day of July 1994, Bank of New Zealand appointed them jointly and severally as receivers of the property of Springlands Meat and Produce Company Limited, under the powers contained in an instrument, dated the 20th day of August 1981.

The receivers have been appointed in respect of all of the company’s real and personal property and all its assets and effects, whatsoever and wheresoever, both present and future, including its uncalled and unpaid capital.

A copy of the public notice of appointment of the receivers as required by section 8 (1) (b) of the Receiverships Act 1993 is annexed hereto and marked “A”.
